Fort Ontario State Historic Site

. Description:  Fort, restored to 1868 appearance, was built, rebuilt, empty, and regarrisoned several times between 1755 and 1946.  The orientation exhibit in the Enlisted Men's Barracks explains this history, and the costumed interpreters reflect the post-Civil War period.
