| What kind of visit you can have:
The historic area shares the grounds of the WVU
Jackson's Mill State 4-H Conference Center. The
original 1841 mill now serves as a museum, but Blaker
Mill, relocated to the site, began operation in
1993. Stonewall Jackson spent much of his
childhood here, working in the saw and grist mills of
his uncle's farm. The Mountain State building was
erected on the side to house exhibits and craft
demonstrations. |
